Account & Data Deletion

What will be deleted?

When you confirm, we permanently delete (not just disable) the following data linked to your account:

• Your app account (name, email, phone, country, hashed password).
• Your Tesla link and stored access/refresh tokens (with a best-effort revoke at Tesla).
• Vehicle data: state, location, trips, charging sessions, battery health, parking spots and photos.
• Automations, notifications, push subscriptions, and assistant conversations.

Note: if a vehicle is shared with another user, that car's data stays with them (ownership is transferred) and only your access is removed. Deleting your app account does not delete your underlying Tesla account.

What we retain (and why)

We retain no personal data after deletion. Encrypted operational backups may persist for at most 30 days for disaster recovery and are then purged. Anonymized error logs contain no personal identifiers.
